The industry leader in network innovation, has unveiled Firefly Suite, a virtualized security portfolio that provides granular, dynamic and secure connectivity for the private and public cloud. The suite introduces Firefly Perimeter, a virtual version of the Juniper Networks® SRX Series Services Gateway, as well as Junos® Space Virtual Director, an application that automates the management and deployment of Firefly Perimeter. When combined with enhancements to Firefly Host, which provides hypervisor-based protection between virtual machines, the suite secures traffic within a virtualized data center as well as traffic to and from it. 

Firefly Perimeter—a complete firewall in a flexible virtual machine format based on Juniper’s SRX Series Services Gateway. It delivers rich connectivity features based on the powerful Junos foundation including routing, NAT and VPN. Firefly Perimeter delivers granular security with segmentation capabilities between zones, organizations, lines of business and applications.

Junos Space Virtual Director—an intuitive and easy-to use lifecycle management application enabling organizations to automate the provisioning and resource allocation of virtual machines associated with Juniper’s Firefly Perimeter VMs including open REST API’s for integration with third-party management platforms.

Firefly Host—a purpose built firewall for virtualization integrated into the kernel of the hypervisor. It’s designed to protect all east-west traffic flows and includes stateful inspection firewalling, intrusion detection, compliance monitoring and enforcement, as well as on-access and on-demand antivirus scanning.
